Heart to Heart is pleased to offer the following refund policy. If you wish to cancel your registration more than 48 hours before the start of your originally scheduled course, simply notify us in writing of this fact. The best way to do this is to reply to your confirmation email and request the refund. This way you have a confirmed time that you requested the refund. Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment (e.g., credit card purchases will be credited to the original credit card account).
Less than 48 hours before the start of your course, no refund is possible however we will transfer 100% of your payment to another course of your choice. You may contact us via telephone 416-960-5319 or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to request the change to your new course.
Transfers – The first transfer is free. Additional course changes may be subject to a $25 administration fee. Application of this fee is strictly at the discretion of Heart2Heart.
Instructor Development Courses – If you are enrolled in one of our Instructor Development courses, due to the very small class sizes no refund or transfer is possible for this program unless the course is cancelled or postponed by Heart2Heart. This supersedes the refund policy as listed above for our regular courses. Instructor Development Courses are also non-transferrable. If there is an issue with a course date booked please contact our office as soon as possible,
Vancouver Location – Registrations at our Vancouver location are 100% non-refundable. This supersedes the refund policy as listed above
Hamilton Location – 48 hours advanced notice is required to cancel a course registration. Cancellations are subject to a $20 administration fee. No refund will be provided for cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the start of the course. 48 hours advanced notice is required to transfer to another course date without charge. By transferring to another date, you forfeit your right to cancel your course. This supersedes the refund policy as listed above
Blended Learning means on-line / in-class training. Instead of doing two full days in class, you would complete half the course at home or office and the other half in-class. Participants must first complete the self-paced online component, which includes a knowledge evaluation, then successfully complete an Instructor-led classroom component (skills practice and evaluation session) in order to achieve certification. Currently, we offer Standard First Aid CPR/AED C or HCP and CPR/AED C or HCP.
Heart to Heart offers a few varieties of discounts.
When you choose a course and date you will see a drop-down menu listing our Student Discount prices. Be sure to click on the Student Discount price and bring your student ID or any proof you are a student to the course.
In the same drop-down menu you will see our "Bring A Friend" prices - if you have even more friends that want to come, please contact our office and we will either honour the same price or extend an even better discount.
If you organize a group and have over 8 participants, we can come to your location. Inquire with our office and we will send your desired course description with our group price breakdowns - basically, the more participants you have, the cheaper the price. For groups less than 7 participants, we can book your group into any of our public courses, and you will still receive a great discount. For more information, see Group Bookings or Book a Group above OR contact our office.
