Canadian Red Cross Certification Valid for 3 years
HEART SAVER CPR (Level
A)
$45 student, $50 regular / 4 hours

This course focuses on lifesaving skills on adults (which in CPR terms is 8 years old and up). You will learn:
- How to deal with the Emergency Medical System (911)
- Heart attack & stroke prevention, recognition, and treatment
- How to help someone who is choking
- How to perform CPR for cardiac arrest
- Defibrillation (AED) certification included
BASIC RESCUER CPR (Level
C or HCP)
$55 student, $60 regular / 7 hours, 1 day
$35 student, $40 regular / Re-certification 3 hours

This course focuses on lifesaving skills on adults, children and babies. You will learn:
- How to deal with the Emergency Medical System (911)
- Heart attack & stroke prevention, recognition, and first aid treatment
- Defibrillation (AED) certification included
- How to help an adult, child or infant who is choking
- When and how to provide CPR for adults, children and infants
- Responding with another person as a "team" to an adult or child emergency
Please note: Health care providers (HCP) CPR is also available for doctors, nurses, paramedics, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, respiratory therapists (applicable to students in these categories). If obtaining CPR (level HCP) add 1 hour to the course.
